WinterCamp Needs You to Go!

We still have about 20 spots available!  Therefore, we have extended the deadline to THIS SUNDAY EVENING.  We are also waiving the penalty, so the cost remains at $135.  These spots MUST be filled!

If you are "on the fence" about going, it's likely because of three obstacles: money, scheduling, or fear/anxiety.

If money has been holding you back, please know there is a way around it.  Thanks to the generosity of others, we have scholarships available! We always say this: money is NOT a good excuse to stay home!  We'll make it work for everyone who wants to go! If you need financial assistance, please contact Pastor Mark!

SCHEDULE HOLDING YOU BACK?
We are currently forming a car pool for kids who have a Friday night conflict.  At no added cost to the families, students may ride up with responsible adult drivers on Saturday morning. If this would help you "say yes" to coming, please contact Pastor Mark!

FEAR OR ANXIETY HOLDING YOU BACK?
Parents or students may be hesitant to "take the plunge" of WinterCamp. Perhaps these five key facts may alleviate your concerns:

• We have a 5:1 child to adult ratio. All our adults have had a background check done, and are well known by Pastor Mark and Pastor Josh. No adult is "flying solo" in a cabin. They are always paired up, and are paired based on experience and relationships with students. 
• Safety is placed at a premium. We simply will not do something if there is any unnecessary risk involved.  We will always sacrifice "more fun" for the sake of "more safety".  
• We have had a sparkling track record on retreats with squelching deviant behavior. Our group is very well-behaved. Potential risky behaviors such as pranks, bullying, and boy-girl contact are strictly forbidden. 
• Students are never forced to do something outside their comfort zone. We strive to ensure each kid leaves with a very positive experience!
• Ask any student who has gone, and virtually all of them would say WinterCamp is one of the highlights - if not THE highlight - of the year for them. WinterCamp has earned this positive reputation because there truly is nothing to fear! 

So, "on-the-fencers"....please say YES! It's a decision you will be glad you made, as WinterCamp has proven over the years to be a significant difference-maker in many lives.
